Safety First
Riding is a risk sport and whilst every effort has been made to ensure your safety whilst visiting Cotswold Equestrian Academy, animals can be unpredictable at times and injury can occur as a result.
To minimise risks, instructions given by staff at Cotswold Equestrian Academy, must be followed.
We have a weight limit for horse riding of 12.5st.
Our minimum age is 2 years old for all riding activities
We do hire hats, though it is recommended that you purchase your own, correctly fitted hat. We also advise the use of body protectors during riding lessons. Correct foot wear is extremely important and boots with a small heel must be worn for safety reasons. Suitable footwear must be worn at all times when at the centre.
Staff have been first aid trained to deal with injuries and all injuries must be reported to the Manager on site, and recorded in the accident book.
