Groups are split into beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced with a maximum of 5 children per group.

Children need to be 5 or over to join our groups at Cotswold Equestrian Academy and wear shoes or boots with a small heel and a well fitting hat either provided by the centre or their own hat.

All clothing must be a good fit for comfort and safety and any jackets, coats etc must be fastened correctly.

Children's private/semi private lessons

Available after school and 12pm  onwards on Saturdays. Suitable for all abilities

Friday evening Pony care courses with Jen Wofford

Group sessions 4-5pm ages 4-8yrs

Group sessions 5-6pm ages 9-15yrs

£15.00 per person

Each child will receive a workbook to accompany the course with useful factsheets and worksheets, awards given throughout the course.

Teeny Tots Riding Sessions

Suitable for all children aged 2-5 year old. A fun 20 minute session where children are able to ride our lovely, sweet ponies and develop their confidence, core stability, balance and coordination, whilst having a wonderful time playing games on horseback.

Pony Parties

We offer children's pony parties for children over the age of 5. Pony party bookings are for a minimum of 5 children and a maximum of 10.

Parties are for 1 hour and within this time children will receive a group riding lesson and a 30 minute grooming session where they will get to dress up 1 of our ponies. You are welcome to bring along a cake and party bags to complete this special occasion.

Cost per person is £25

Activity Days - Next dates: 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th April

These days run throughout the school holidays.

From 10am-3pm, just £40 per child. 

All children must be over 5 year old.

Activities include mucking out, grooming and plaiting, learning how to care for a pony, plus a group riding lesson.

As well as these activities, we also play lots of games, sweet hunt, play giant hide and seek and have so much fun.

Please bring a packed lunch and shoes or boots with a small heel.
